Accommodation

An apartment will be provided near the school for all foreign teachers for free. Whereas utility costs including gas, water, electricity and phone are to be paid for by the teachers (these costs have been estimated at 200-250 RMB per month).
Teachers are responsible for keeping the apartment in good, clean condition. You will be responsible for the costs of repairing any damage incurred during your time in the apartment. Please take good care of your apartment and leave it in the same condition it was when you moved in.

The salary is 4,000 - 7,000 RMB per month according to your experience and qualifications.
On completion of a 6-month contract, the cost of a one-way airline ticket will be reimbursed (up to 3000 RMB) and upon the completion of a 12-month contract, the school will reimburse you the equivalent of a round trip airline ticket (up to 6000 RMB).

Public Holidays
Teacher will receive the following holidays should they occur during the duration of the contract:
New Year’s Day (Jan 1st ) 1 Day
Chinese Lunar New Year (Feb) 3 Days
Labor Day (May 1st ) 3 Days
National Day (Oct 1st ) 3 Days
Christmas Day (Dec 25th ) 1 Day
Teacher’s National Holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter etc.)
Paid Vacation
Teacher is entitled to 12 working days paid vacation per full year contract. For shorter terms, vacations are calculated on a pro-rata basis. Vacations cannot be taken during January-February or July-August periods, unless there’s an emergency occurred. Three weeks notice must be give to the school director for requests for leave.

ESFLS will provide five days of training with the head teacher, plus one month of on-the-job training where you will meet weekly with the ESFLS head teacher to discuss any questions and to receive feedback.
ESFLS will hold monthly meetings for staff where they can share ideas and techniques. Lesson ideas (including activities such as songs, games, how to make students enthusiastic in the class) will be shared, which help teachers build on the quality of their lessons.
ESFLS will do its utmost to provide teachers with any materials or books needed for their classes.
ESFLS will help teachers solve any problems they may have.
